The 2013 is close to enter in its 3rd quarter and so most of the automakers are trying to launch their latest models to beat its rivals. Well, the popular Acura released an image of the Prototype NSX supercar on 25th July 2013 and has claimed that the NSX will hit the race track of the Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course, Lexington, Ohio prior the Honda’s Indy 200 IndyCar Series race. On 4th August 2013, the Acura Prototype NSX supercar will lap the racetrack before the formal race. The NBC Sports Network will broadcast the race live at 3 p.m. EDT so that the race enthusiasts can enjoy it on their home screens.
The new Prototype NSX supercar by Acura retains lots of styling features of the NSX concept that was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show 2012 in Detroit. The Prototype is well crafted, well equipped and technologically advanced and at the heart of the car a mid-mounted V6 engine is placed that is mated with the company’s new and innovative three motor sports hybrid SH-AWD system (Super Handling All Wheel drive system) for strong performance and responsive handling. The Acura’s next generation NSX is not much different from the previous models that are offered in the past however, the new car is a prototype and will retain and showcase the graphics and charm of this supercar. We just have to wait a few days to view the charm and thrilling performance of the NSX at the Mi-Ohio raceway.
