Ford and Fuel TV Team Up for Octane Academy

Ford has always come up with better cars for better driving experience. However, Ford is now teaming up with Fuel TV to launch the first ever motorsports television series with Octane Academy. This is for the first time that such motorsport television series will be shown on Fuel TV where challenges will be provided to the camps and people can see those challenges right on their television screen. The Octane Academy series will be a 13 episode original television series where gruesome challenges will be given to four action sports camps. Each camp will get three episodes and the series will be aired on television in 2012.

So far, Ford’s Octane Academy has become the most demanding series on Fuel TV as there is a growing fan base for it. Currently, the channel has received more than 6000 applications for participating in the show which clearly indicates that the popularity of this program will surpass that of Fiesta Movement program. John Felice, General Manager of Ford and Lincoln Marketing said that they are really thrilled to share the excitement of this series with the millions of fans who will now become the part of this program and even for those who will watch it on their television when the program is broadcasted. He further added that Octane Academy is the perfect program for audiences who want to enjoy some drama along with some sporty action happening on their television screen.

Peter Vesey, Vice President of Advertising Sales at Fuel TV said that the channel is really excited to bring this series to the fans because there are few risk taking scenarios involved that will keep pro drivers and even the viewers out of their comfort zone and that will add to the adrenaline pumping pressure. The series will begin this November and the first camp will be hosted by Brian Deegan.
