1. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sports ($1,700,000)

The king of the roads! The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 which is the most dominant, most pricey, and above all one of the fastest cars in the world and yet the fastest produced road king, with a demonstrated peak speed of more than 400 km/h (407 km/h or 253 mph). Manufactured by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS and is vended under the renowned Bugatti marque. The Veyron equips a W16 engine, 16 cylinders in 4 banks of 4 cylinders. The car interior is just mind-blowing. This super car has been named after racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in the year 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti Company. Yet this is on the top of the list of the top 10 Most Expensive Cars!

2. Pagani Zonda Clinque Roadster ($1,850,000)

On the second spot we have the Pagani Zonda Clinque Roadster. It features a hand made double turbocharged AMG V12 engine that produces 678 HP. This much of power enables it to gallop to 60 MPH from an idle position in just 3.4 seconds and is capable of hitting 200 km/h in below ten seconds and it won’t end until it attains a peak speed of 217 MPH.

3. Lamborghini Reventon ($1,600,000)

The most prevailing and the most costly Lamborghini ever made is on the 3rd spot of our list of the top 10 most Expensive Cars in the World. It is only a matter of 3.3 seconds for Reventon to attain 60 mph and it has a peak speed of 211 mph. The reasons why this car is so costly are that mainly it is rare and secondly it has an efficient yet eye-catching design.

4. Ferrari Enzo ($1,000,000)

This is a 12-cylinder Ferrari supercar named after the manufacturer’s originator, Enzo Ferrari. It was manufactured in 2003 by means of Formula One technology, for instance a carbon-fiber exterior, F1-type chronological shift transmission, and carbon-ceramic brake discs. Moreover, it has active aerodynamics. Following a highest down force of 1709 pounds (775 kg) is attained at 186 mph (301 km/h) the rear spoiler is activated by the computer to uphold that down force.

5. McLaren F1 ($970,000)

During 1994, the McLaren F1 was considered to be the fastest car and yet the most expensive of all. 7. Koenigsegg CCX ($650,000)

The Koenigsegg CCX is the most recent supercar manufactured by Koenigsegg. It is projected to be more appropriate for the U.S. market and therefore engineered to meet the terms with US convention. The CCX is based on a Koenigsegg designed and amassed, all aluminum over it, 4700 cm³ DOHC 32-valve V8 based on the Ford modular engine structural design improved with double Rotrex centrifugal superchargers with retort system 1.2 bar boost pressure and an 8.2:1 compression ratio. The engine of this car generates 806 hp (601 kW) and 678 lbf.ft (920 Nm) on 91 octane (U.S. rating) gasolines, 850 hp (634 kW) on 96 octane (Euro rating) gasoline and 900 hp (671 kW) on biofuel.

8. Ascari A10 ($650,000) (TIE with Koenigsegg CCX!)

This 8th ranked super car is capable of attaining a proven peak speed of 215 mph, zipping 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds. The British car manufacturer intends to produce 50 models in Banbury (England).

9. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo ($555,000)

The Saleen S7 is available in a limited edition, hand made car developed mutually by Saleen, Hidden Creek Industries, Phil Frank Design and RML, and formed exclusively by Saleen in Irvine, California. It is the initial car manufactured by Saleen not based on a present design and is well thought-out to be the primary true American assembly certified as a super car. The S7 made its first appearance on August 19, 2000 at the Monterey Historic Races. The car has 550 horsepower. During 2005, the S7 was swapped by the S7 Twin Turbo, which equipped a more prevailing twin-turbo system that enhanced engine power to 750 horsepower (760 PS/559 kW) and the last speed to a projected of 250 mph (402 km/h).

10. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren ($455,000)
