Nissan has managed to make its mark in the North American market lately and now the Japanese automaker is looking towards the future of sport sedan design that they would like to introduce in the North American market. At the 2014 North American International Auto Show, Nissan decided to showcase their vision for the future of sport sedan design. Shiro Nakamura, Chief Creative Officer was present at the event and took the cover off the concept car that Nissan had for the event. He also mentioned that Nissan is going to focus on sport sedan which is going to be the future in the auto industry.
Nissan also said that they are coming up with new ideas and concept cars that will focus on how the future cars will be and how it will affect the car buyers in the future. Nissan has already unveiled many other concepts like BladeGlider, Friend-ME, IDx-Freeflow and IDx NISMO at various auto shows and events. Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President and Chief Planning Officer of Nissan Motor Co Ltd said that the entire focus of the design team is to incorporate some of the current designs into reality.
Pointing at the concept car he said that Nissan will build this car in the future and the new car will not be different from the concept car that people can see right now. Nissan also mentioned that sport sedans are very much in the roots of Nissan’s heritage and they will combine design, technology and innovation all into one.
