Mini Gears Up for New York International Auto Show 2012

New York definitely gets a lot of attention all the time not only from the people in the United States but also from global consumers. Hence, many car owners are busy lining up their new cars for the New York International Auto Show that is going to take off from April 6 to April 15. Mini has been one of the leading brands that have covered all the automobile shows and therefore the company is all set to launch their new cars at the New York International Auto Show.

Mini has now announced that they will have the world premiere of the limited edition sports model and also bring out the Mini John Cooper Works GP that has been claimed as the fastest road approved Mini. This time Mini is also focusing on bringing out Mini John Cooper Works Countryman which will have a sporty look. The car will have all wheel drive system along with a powerful engine that will ensure that the drivers have good time behind the wheels. The new car will have newly developed four cylinder engine with Twin Scroll turbocharger, direct injection and variable valve control. The 1.6 liter engine will produce 218 horsepower and impressive torque to take this car from zero to 100 km/h in 7 seconds flat.
