Honda Marine, a division of American Honda Motor Co Inc that produces outboard marine engines has now announced a new plan where they would introduce a new Honda branded electronic shift and throttle system that they can use in their popular V6 engines. The company said that the new in cowl system will provide shift and throttle actuation inside the current outboard cowling which will be integrated in the design. Alan Simmons, National Manager at Honda Marine said that the new Honda shift and throttle system will further make their engines better and improve the overall product which would lead to better customer satisfaction when they buy Honda products.
He also said that with the introduction of their system customers will enjoy better driving experience which will help them to use Honda outboards in a better way while they are on the road. The new system will have stylized control handle that is designed as per Honda’s requirements and will be installed first in new and purchased BF200, BF225 and BF250. The system can handle single and multi-engine applications smoothly so there is nothing that the customers have to worry about.
All the single systems will have new improved throttle control while docking, fine tuning of trolling speed and multi-station applications. While multi-engine systems will have better engine synchronization, single lever control, single bottom trim for easy setup. The system will also have compact control processor which will provide better engine performance for all the Honda outboard engine users which will enhance their driving experience.
