I don’t know about you, but I am a self-confessed petrolhead! I’ve always had a fascination with cars and motorsport. One of my favourite car brands of all time is, without a shadow of a doubt, BMW!
The German car maker has been in the business of making luxury and high-performance cars since the 1920s. People from all walks of life own a BMW and are proud to do so. Are you thinking of buying a BMW soon? If so, you will have doubtless seen the prices of brand new models and become disappointed.

You do know that every cloud has a silver lining, right? I’ll let you in on a little secret… You can afford to get a brand new BMW and pay less for it! That might sound like a crazy statement to make, but it’s true. Want to know how? Continue reading to learn more!
Choose the best realistic model you can afford
One of the biggest reasons why car buyers end up getting cars they can’t afford is because they go for the wrong model! Everyone will have a list of requirements, such as budget, lifestyle and so forth.
For instance, you might be thinking that a BMW M5 is the car you want. But if you haven’t got the funds, you shouldn’t live above your means just to buy it! You could opt for a powerful 5 Series M Sport model instead.
Let’s face it; you can only drive up to a certain speed limit on public roads. Unless you are planning to make an annual pilgrimage to the Nürburgring in Germany, there’s no way you can max out your car’s limits! At least, not without killing yourself or other people in the process.
Look online for deals and promotions
Just because a car maker “suggests” a price doesn’t mean you have to pay it! Almost all new car dealers on the planet will have regular deals and promotions to entice new customers to buy their cars!
Use these deals and promotions to your advantage. Go on the Internet and find out which car dealers offer the best deals. It’s likely that you will come across a deal where you can slash thousands off the price of your new BMW.
Car dealers, such as Eastern Western, make it easy to seek out the best BMW deals. There are also some websites that offer to find the best deals for you. They are usually deals that aren’t advertised to the general public. In other words, they are only advertised to other companies.
Don’t buy it; lease it!
Finally, here’s a simple piece of advice for you: lease your new BMW! The thing is; all brand new cars lose value over time. The depreciation process is at its worst during the first three years of a car’s life.
If you buy your new BMW, and after three years you fancy a new one again, you will have lost thousands off the car’s value. With leasing, you just hand the car back or trade it in for another new one
