The year 2012 has just begun and many car makers are now all set to introduce some of their new cars in the market for the consumers. Top companies like Chevrolet are already looking to roll out some of their new vehicles in the market but recently Chevrolet unveiled the new 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition. Chevrolet has said that this will be the fastest and most capable convertible in the history of Corvette as this will be the 60th Anniversary Package that they are offering to their consumers.
Chris Perry, Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategy at Chevrolet said that the 2013 Corvette model will be definitely historic because it marks the 60th Anniversary and the final year for the current C6 generation car. He also said that the company could not think of anything else than bringing out the best Corvette on the milestone event that has been remarkable for the company. The new Corvette will be a convertible and will have 427 cubic inch engine that will have superior performance. The all new Corvette 427 Convertible will debut at the Barrett Jackson collector car in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 21 and then it will be available for the consumers by summer 2012.
Chevrolet also announced that the car will have 427 cubic inch engine which will be LS7 engine from Corvette Z06 and will have the capability to produce 505 horsepower and 470 lb feet or torque. The car can perform from zero to 60 in 3.8 seconds with the top speed of 190 mph and more.
