The German automaker with a proven record in sports, luxury and comfort is all set to present third generation of its bicycle range. Announced at BMW PressClub Global, these bikes will be out for sale this month. They will own the innovations and expertise BMW is known for. Let me give you a sneak peek of these BMW bikes.
This is not the first time BMW is stepping into the bicycle segment. These will be third generation bikes from the German automaker, and they have been working on this division for long. For the first time, BMW offered a narrow but highly sporty range of bikes in 1950s. You may remember BMW G Bike, which was the second generation mountain bike with innovative and pioneering features. In the 60 years of bike manufacturing experience, BMW pioneered several technologies like aluminum tubing and folding mechanism.
The Bike Collection
This time BMW is coming up with five different bicycle models possessing a new design and sporty capabilities. These include: the all-new Cruise Bike, Cruise M Bike, Trekking Bike, All Mountain, and Cruise e-Bike. All these are whole different packages with something in common; it is the top tube with a signature ‘Bull Neck’ design. The overall design retains significant enhancements that make it lighter and require less effort to transfer maximum power.
Price and Availability
The company has already announced the prices, specific to the German market. It will be obtainable at BMW’s shopping website and from the authorized dealers this month. You can also inquire the price and availability of this new collection from your nearest BMW dealership.
BMW has significantly been investing in a smaller segment not just for making profits, but to bring further improvements in motor as well as non-motor sports.
