BMW Design Group Wins Gold Prize at the German Design Award 2014

BMW i3BMW has been known for delivering some of the best car designs and now The German Design Council has selected BMW Group Design as the winners of the German Design Award 2014. The design group said that they are really excited about winning the award. The German Design Council consists of international panel of experts that look out for outstanding design achievements and this year BMW Group Design has managed to earn around five honors at the award event. BMW Group Design has also been the recipient of the Gold Prize which is the highest award in the Transportation and Public Space category.

BMW Group Design revealed that they won the Gold Prize for the all-electric BMW i3 which is one of the most acclaimed car this year. The design group also that they also received Special Mention for the luxury concept BMW Pinnifarina Gran Lusso Coupe and the new edition of the iconic BMW R 1200 GS travel endure. The BMW Concept Ninety Film managed to win in the Audiovisual and Digital Media category while Outstanding Design qualities went to K2 LTD BMW Power Ride Ski that has been designed in collaboration with K2 and Designworks USA.

BMW is excited that they have managed to win five honors at the event and said that they have always tried to come up with the best design in the German market and that they always learn more about the kind of design that consumers want. While BMW i3 is an urban vehicle it still manages to have the kind of impact through the exteriors. The car is light, safe and efficient and that makes the all electric BMW i3 so powerful. While BMW Pinnifarina combines the cutting edge technology, style, dynamics and aesthetics that will elevate the level of driving in the future.
