GMC is focusing on bigger vehicles that can accumulate bigger families and all the cargo that they bring along. Now, GMC has come up with the new redesigned 2015 GMC Yukon that certainly has the appeal factor of full size SUVs.
In terms of exterior, Yukon does take some styling cues from GMC Sierra that includes the new grille and full size bumper in the front and stylishly sculpted sides and fenders that not only add better aerodynamics, but also enhance the overall style factor of the vehicle. It has less decoration and simple and clear side body which makes it look better. GMC has made use of aluminum and high strength steel that makes the car lighter than the previous models.
Under the hood, GMC will incorporate new 5.3 liter V8 engine that features direct injection and VVT and the engine has the capability to generate 355 horsepower and 383 lb feet of torque. The engine is mated with six speed transmission.
2015 GMC Yukon also boasts of many safety features like Forward and Rear Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Crash Imminent Braking, Side Blind Zone Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Change Assist. It also has front and side airbags that protect the occupants and the driver.
GMC has also come up with new redesigned interior with improved quality materials and redesigned seats for better comfort. The central touchscreen is low and easy to access and the cabin is very driver centric and comfortable.
